Safety and Ethics

Your safety is always the most important priority for our guides and we have 100% safety record over the last 24 years.

Guides at Izembek Lodge are certified in first aid and CPR.  We avoid situations that risk the safety of our guests and adverse weather may cause a change in daily plans.  Our guides carry emergency contact equipment such as two-way radios and inReach units, flares, and first aid kits.  Boat operators are licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard.
